Deliver photos in client galleries

Give each client a private gallery of their photos to view, favorite and download, once they've paid if you choose.

Open Galleries, choose New gallery and pick the client. Name the sets (Ceremony, Portraits) and upload into each one at full size, or add photos already in your library. Big JPEGs are fine: the gallery makes its own preview sizes.

Before you share

  • PIN: keeps the link private if it gets forwarded.
  • Watermark: draws your logo over every photo the client sees. Add your logo image in Brand first.
  • Release downloads once paid: ties the gallery to their booking or sale. Downloads open when the balance is paid and stop if the payment is refunded.
  • Download sizes: full size, a 2048 px web size, or both.
  • Closing date: we email the client a week before it closes.

Share emails your client a link in your name, with the PIN if you set one. Signed in on your website, they also find it under their account, with no PIN. They can favorite photos and download one, a set or everything. A big gallery downloads as a few zip files.

The gallery shows who opened it, each person's favorites and every download. Copy favorites gives you the file names for your editing app. Change the PIN or make a new link if the old one went somewhere it shouldn't; anyone who used the old one is shut out.

For agents

  • galleries.create (customerId, name, agreementId, sets) answers each set's collectionId. Upload into a set with files.start and that id as albumId, or add library files with galleries.saveSet.
  • galleries.update sets the PIN, watermark, releaseOnPaid, downloads, expiresOn and cover. Put a PIN only in galleries.update or galleries.share, never anywhere else.
  • galleries.share (notify emails the client) answers the url. galleries.newLink replaces it.
  • galleries.list and galleries.get show viewers, favorites, downloads and whether the sale is paid.
