Start your business

Say where you are, answer a few questions, and get a website draft, a setup plan and everything else a new business needs. An idea gets research first.

Go to https://allpage.site/start, or Start right here on the front page, and pick where you are: I have an idea, I'm starting a business or I already run a business. Then answer a few questions:

  • An idea: what it is, in a sentence or two, and where. Allpage keeps it as a business at the idea stage, free until you open it, with a business plan that research fills in: who your customers are, what to charge and what you'd compete with.
  • Starting: your business's name, the kind of business (search, or pick the closest; Personal portfolio is a simple website you shape yourself) and where you work.
  • Already open: your website or Instagram, then the same questions. We read your website for your name, kind of business, place, contact details, opening hours, services, prices and logo. What we find shows beside each empty question, marked "from your website": tap it to use it. We save your Instagram as a link and don't read your profile.

Anything else? takes services and prices ("Haircut 60 min $75"), an email, a phone or links. We offer what we recognize beside the matching question and keep the rest for your setup.

Then Continue. On /start, Allpage makes the business and opens its setup steps: a website draft for your kind of business, then a setup plan with what's left.

On the front page, you don't need an account to start. Continue makes your business right away, kept in this browser for 7 days, and asks you to sign in with your email to keep it. Once you sign in, it's yours with everything you made, and its setup opens. Nothing goes to customers and nothing is published until you keep it. If you'd rather sign in later, choose Email me a link to keep this: we email you a link, and a reminder the day before it's deleted. A business nobody keeps in 7 days is deleted with everything in it.

Or ask your AI to do it: "Read the docs at https://allpage.site/docs, create my account, and set up a bakery with me."

What you get

  • A website draft whose home page is composed for your business: sections that suit your kind of business, arranged around your name, words, photos and look. Your sentence about what you do is its introduction. If we can't compose it, it starts from our sample for your trade, and the setup plan says so. Nothing is live until you publish it.
  • What customers book and buy, at the usual prices for your kind of business or the prices you gave. Your website lists them with Book and Buy, at the price checkout charges.
  • Sample reviews, people, questions and class times that stay off your live website until you replace them. Skip where you are, and your website names no place.
  • A setup plan on Today: each step says why it matters, with Do it for me, I have this and Skip for now.
  • A brand kit (logo, colors, type and voice) that your website, emails and checkout wear.

For agents

  1. Start it with business.create (tool business_create). Required: name (up to 80 characters), kind and email. For an idea, send stage: "idea" and pitch (the idea in the owner's words, up to 300 characters) instead: name, kind and email are optional, and business.open opens it later. kind is one site.starters lists: massage, yoga, photographer, hair, barbershop, nails, trainer, music-teacher, baker, restaurant, counselor, cleaner, musician, pet-care, or portfolio when none fits (a simple website with no kind's offerings or prices). planning.opportunities names one too. Optional: stage (starting or open; idea above), location (like "Austin, TX", which sets the time zone and is kept as the place the business serves; it's tidied to "Brooklyn, NY"), phone, description (up to 300 characters, in the owner's words: it shapes the home page), services (up to 6, each {"name", "priceMinor", "minutes"}, only as the owner said them: they become what customers book first, at those prices), website (their own site, https), socials (each {"platform", "handle", "url"}), logoUrl, hours (only as the owner or their website gave them: schema.org text like "Mo-Fr 09:00-17:00, Sa 10:00-14:00", or 7 days of windows, Sunday first, in minutes from midnight; they become the business's hours in its time zone), facts (what the owner gave, each {"source", "kind", "value"}) and inspiration (sites whose look they like, each {"url"}: only the look is used).
  2. It answers with businessId (biz_…) and siteId. Pass businessId as business on later tool calls when the owner has more than one business.
  3. Call it once. If a call fails without an answer, check organizations.list before calling again so you don't start two.
  4. Then follow the onboarding.launch skill: onboarding.plan lists the steps, onboarding.doIt does one, and onboarding.handOff gives the owner a link for a step only they can do. Once the website is live, site.share gives the link to hand out, and onboarding.nextSteps lists what's left (payments, reviews, reminders, a domain) in the order that fits the business.

In ChatGPT, the owner starts by tapping Start on the start card (site.starters with start), then sets their hours on the hours card (business.hours; customers book within them) and publishes on the website's card (site.preview), each a tap. ChatGPT asks for their opening hours, address and how the business is set up, and saves what they say (business.updateHours, business.updateAddress, business.updateProfile; each change waits for their tap on Approve). After the share card, the next-steps card (onboarding.nextSteps) turns on reminders or reviews with Do it for me, opens payments or a domain in Allpage with Finish in Allpage, and says when something isn't on their plan, with the plans page to read.

Ask the owner for anything you don't know. Never invent prices, hours or credentials.
