Help articles
Short answers about each part of Allpage. The assistant and connected apps search the same ones.
Allpage
- The assistant: Ask the assistant to change your website, set up services, turn on automations or find something. You decide what it does on its own and what waits for your OK.
- Working for the owner from your own agent: You act for the owner with the access they gave your app.
Site
- Getting started: Your website starts as a private draft. Edit on the preview, save as you go, and publish when you’re ready for people to see it.
- See every page at once: Your site shows where your website is live, what changed last and how many people visited, then every page as a small live preview, with its open comments and the changes waiting for your OK. Tap a page to edit it.
- Templates, colors and style: Pick a template to restyle your page without touching your words or photos, then fine-tune colors, fonts, sizes, width and spacing.
- Choose your fonts: Pick a font pair in The look. Each is shown in your own headline, and your website serves the fonts itself.
- Show a portfolio, a slideshow or a map: Show a whole album from Files as a portfolio or slideshow, edge to edge if you like, and a map of your address.
- Add events, news, a shop or a portfolio page: Add a page that keeps itself up to date: events with a calendar, news posts, a shop, your albums or your reviews. Each event, post, product and album gets a page of its own.
- Sections and blocks: Your page is a stack of sections you can show, hide, reorder or add. Some hold blocks like a contact form, a video or your next open times.
- Add a section from a design: Add a section from dozens of ready designs, grouped by what they’re for and shown in your website’s look. Save any section you build to reuse it.
- Build your own section: Build a section from headings, text, photos, buttons and layouts, arranged any way you like. It can sit above your header or stay on screen.
- Give a section a background: Put any section on one of your colors, a gradient, or a photo under a shade that keeps the words readable, and give its bottom edge a curve or wave.
- Let Auto lay out your lists: Services, reviews, photos, team, questions and your schedule lay themselves out from what they hold. Pick a layout yourself any time and yours wins.
- Show your prices your way: Show services as cards, a list, a menu, packages, a side-by-side comparison or by category, each with price options and its own Book button.
- Show your social links: Paste a link and your website knows it’s Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and more, with the right icon. Show them as icons, labels or buttons.
- Suggestions for your website: Your website suggests what it could show and doesn’t yet, like a map, your reviews or your hours. One tap adds it.
- Add your own code: For a look the editor can’t make, a section can hold its own HTML and CSS, written by you, the assistant or your own AI. Code from anyone but you waits for your OK.
- Interactive blocks: A quiz, a price calculator, a countdown or a 3D scene: the assistant can build an interactive block, and you change its words and settings yourself.
- Change one part: color, size and comments: Any heading, button, photo or line on your website can take its own color, size, alignment or emphasis, or hide on phones. Ask the assistant to change it.
- Starting points for your kind of business: Each kind of business starts from a sample with its own words, services, photos and sections. Sample reviews, people and questions stay off your live website until you add your own.
- Portfolio, schedule, team, questions and links: Portfolio, schedule, team, questions and links each keep a list you edit in Your content: add, reorder, hide or remove items.
- What your buttons do: Your main button can book, reserve a table, open your contact form or a link. Service buttons follow it unless you pick something else.
- Custom forms: Add a Form block to ask for anything, like quote requests or intake questions. Answers land in your Inbox.
- Photos and logo: Change your main photo and logo from the preview. Upload your own, or have the assistant make one for you to approve.
Brand
- Change your logo, colors, fonts and voice: Your logo, colors, fonts and voice, used on your website, emails, texts and checkout. A change shows everywhere right away, and you can go back to any earlier version.
- Make your brand kit: Your logo, colors, fonts and voice as one kit. Make it free, download it with no account, or bring the logo and colors you already have.
Marketing
- Run a campaign with an offer: Let us plan your first campaign, or plan your own: one message for the people you pick, with an offer if you want one, sent to Google and your newsletter at the time you choose. Each order it brings shows under it.
Analytics
- See how your site is doing: Bookings, revenue, new customers and visits for the last week, month, quarter or year, how your sessions went by offering and teacher, and where visits came from. No cookies, and nothing anyone types into a form is recorded.
Audit
- See who changed what: Every change to your business and who made it: you, your assistant, an automation or a connected app. Filter to one to see just what it did.
Billing
- Choose or change your plan: Your plan, what it costs, the card on file and your receipts. Your website stays live whatever happens with billing.
- See what you’ve used this month: How many texts, AI credits and emails your business used this month, and what’s left on your plan. Allowances renew on the 1st.
Trust and risk
- Keep texting, email and payments in good standing: What’s unlocked for texting, and how your texts, email and payments look to the companies that carry them. If something slips, we tell you why and what to fix before a provider acts.
Payments
- Getting paid: Turn on payments to take cards online, with payouts to your bank. Stripe checks your business in a short form, and you confirm every refund.
Grants
- Choose what packs and memberships cover: Say what each pack or membership pays for and how much: unlimited, a number of bookings a week or month, or a balance of visits, minutes or dollars. Members can also book early.
- Set up membership tiers: Set up a membership in one go: what it costs, what members can book, guest passes each month, member prices and whether members can freeze it.
- Set up a pack: Sell visits, minutes or dollars up front, like 5 massages for $400. The pack pays for the bookings it covers until it runs out.
- Freeze a membership: Freeze a member’s membership for a while: nothing is charged, their bookings inside the freeze are cancelled, and what they paid for runs that much longer.
- Sell, change or end a pack or membership by hand: See who holds each pack and membership. Sell a pack to someone who pays you in person, add or take away visits on a pack, or end a pack or membership.
- Tell customers when a pack runs low or a membership ends: We tell customers when their pack is down to its last visits or about to expire, and when a membership that won’t renew is about to end, so they can keep going.
Forms
- Build waivers, intake forms and applications: Write a waiver, an intake form or an application once in Forms. Bookings ask for it, people fill it in on your website, and you see who signed which version.
- Take applications for scholarships and calls for entry: Share an application’s link and people apply on your website with their files. You review each one in Forms and accept with a free pass, a free place or a code, or decline.
- Ask for ages, waivers and records before people book: Set who can book each admission: an age range, a signed waiver or form, a current record like a vaccination, or your OK. People sign or send it on your website through a link, and check-in waits until it’s in.
Offerings
- Run your schedule: One calendar for everything you run: classes, courses, appointments and events. Each session has its own page to check people in, see what covers them and collect what’s owed.
- Set up what you offer and when: Anything you run on a schedule is an offering: a class, a course, a workshop, an event or open hours. Set it up in one go, with its schedule, room, prices and who can join, and we keep your sessions filled in ahead.
- Take bookings, run waitlists and check people in: Customers book a session or a whole series, for themselves, a guest or someone they book for (a child, a pet), and pay online or at the door. When it’s full they can join the waitlist, and you mark who came or let them check themselves in.
- Move, call off or change one session: Move one session, call it off, change its size or room, or put a substitute on it, without touching the rest of the series. The people booked come along and hear about it once you approve.
- Take appointments and standing bookings: For appointments, lessons and rentals, customers pick an open time from your staff’s hours, your rooms and your calendar. A standing booking keeps the same time every week, and you can book for a customer and send them a pay link.
- Keep people coming back: Reminders go out before every session someone’s booked into, and a short welcome after their first visit. We can also invite people back when it’s time to book again or after a month away.
- See how your classes and teachers are doing: Numbers shows how full your sessions were, who came, who didn’t, how many first-timers came back within 30 days, and what each offering and teacher brought in. Download any table as a spreadsheet.
Restaurant
- Menu, reservations and the waitlist: Your menu shows on your website, guests reserve a table by party size, and walk-ins join a waitlist that tells them when their table’s ready.
- Take pickup orders: Customers order from your website’s menu and pick up at a time they choose. Take it all when they order, or a deposit now and the rest at pickup.
Rewards
- Rewards and punch cards: Customers earn a stamp per visit or points per dollar, and get an email when a reward is ready.
Products
- Sell products: Everything you sell that isn’t booked, in one list: physical and digital products, passes, bundles and gift cards. Add one on Sell, Products, or ask the assistant.
- Send orders and subscriptions: Anything you ship, deliver or hand over becomes an order on Sell, Orders, with what to pack and where it goes. Mark it shipped with tracking, and the customer gets an email at each step.
- Charge for shipping and buy labels: Set a flat rate for shipped orders, or connect Shippo to show live rates at checkout and buy labels here. Shippo charges your own Shippo account for postage; Allpage never does.
- Set up sales tax: Each product gets a tax category for you; add the states where you’re registered and every card payment adds sales tax on top. This isn’t tax advice.
- Set prices: A product’s price is what you enter when you add it. Change it any time: customers who already agreed keep their price unless you say otherwise.
- Offer member prices, discounts and codes: Give a group of customers their own price, a discount or a code. Ask the assistant, and you see what changes before anything goes live.
- Take payment for what you sell: Every product has its own page on your website where customers buy it. They see the price plus tax, agree to your terms, and pay by card, or pay you in person if payments aren’t connected.
- Sell gift cards and give store credit: Sell gift cards on your website and take them anywhere you take payment. Give store credit or refund cancellations as credit, and neither expires.
- Sell files to download: Sell a guide, a recording or photos as a digital product. Buyers get the files by email and on their account once they’ve paid, and a refund stops the downloads.
- Send a customer an offer: Send one customer an offer to accept on your website: a custom price, a deposit, a hold on their card, their card saved until you approve, an invoice, or pay in person. Nothing is charged until they accept.
- Keep track of sales: Money, Sales lists every open sale and what it needs from you: an offer to send, an order to approve, a balance to charge, or money you took in person to mark paid.
- See what came in and what you’re owed: Money answers what came in this month, what customers owe you right now, what you kept and what goes to your bank next. Step through months, see what sold, and download every sale for your accountant.
- Refund a charge, and what a dispute does: Refund a card payment from Money, Sales: a full refund ends the access it gave, a part refund changes money only. A dispute pauses the membership until the bank decides.
- Get paid for memberships every month: Memberships renew by themselves on the card the customer saved. If a card fails we try again and tell them how to pay, and Today tells you when something needs you.
Formation
- Form an LLC and get an EIN: Form an LLC, get its EIN and keep up with the state’s yearly filings, with a partner filing for you or step by step on your own. This is information, not legal advice.
Finance
- See your profit and loss and keep your books: Your profit and loss and cash each month, the same numbers in QuickBooks or Xero as one journal a day, and months you close so they stop changing. It’s information for you and your accountant, not tax or accounting advice.
Pay
- Work out what to pay teachers and staff: Set how people are paid once, and Allpage works out each person’s pay from who taught, who came and what was paid. You export statements and pay people yourself; Allpage never moves the money.
Import
- Switch from Square, Mindbody, Vagaro or Acuity: Bring your clients, services, classes, upcoming bookings, packs and memberships over from the system you used before, one exported file at a time. You see what each file becomes before anything is saved.
Business plan
- See and update your business plan: Your business plan keeps who your customers are, your market, pricing, positioning and goals in one place. Research fills it in, and your own edits always win.
Licenses and permits
- See the licenses and permits businesses like yours need: The licenses and permits businesses like yours typically need where you are, each with the agency’s own page and a reminder before it expires. It’s information to confirm with each agency, not legal advice.
Domains
- Your address and domains: Your website comes with a free address you can rename. To use your own domain, buy it anywhere and connect it here.
- Send email from your own domain: Once your domain connects, we set it up so your emails come from your own address on it. Add the records shown, or add them in one click if Cloudflare runs your domain, and it turns green.
Messaging
- Texting: Carriers approve every business that texts, so set it up here first. Until you’re approved, messages go by email.
- Unsubscribes and consent: Every marketing email has one-click unsubscribe, and it never stops booking reminders or confirmations. We keep the exact words each customer agreed to.
Newsletter
- Newsletter: Send a newsletter to people who signed up on your website, or to one group of them, like members or people who haven’t come in 30 days. You see how many it reaches before you send.
Notifications
- Choose how Allpage tells you things: Choose how Allpage tells you about bookings, approvals and problems: push, text or email, right away or in a morning summary. Quiet hours hold push and texts overnight.
Automations
- Turn on automations: Messages and steps that run on their own: reminders, thank-yous and rebooking nudges. Turn one on from its row, or open it to see exactly what it sends.
Policies
- Set your cancellation and deposit rules: Your rules for cancellations, deposits, no-shows and refunds. Customers see them when they book, and deposits, fees and refunds follow them on their own.
Customers
- Customers: Everyone who books, buys, writes in or subscribes, each with their own page: what covers them, what they owe, their next visit and their story. Keep private notes, and export everything anytime.
- Book for children, pets and family: A parent books their kids, an owner books their dog. Each child or pet has one record at your business, and both parents can book them.
Custom fields
- Keep your own details on customers and bookings: Keep your own details on customers and bookings, like a dog’s size or an allergy. Make a field private and only you ever see it.
- Collect health information with a consent line: Mark a field as health information and it stays private to you, and a form that asks for it needs the customer’s consent. This is information, not legal advice.
Inbox
- Inbox: Messages from your website, email, texts, WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger, in one place. Reply here and it goes back the way they wrote.
Business details
- Start a business: Give your name and anything you have, like your website, Instagram or prices, and get a business with its details filled in and a private website draft, ready to edit and publish.
- Turn a tool on or off: Your business starts with the tools businesses like yours use. Turn any other one on, or one you don’t use off, any time.
- Your business details: Your name, address, hours and contact details, entered once. Your website, emails and listings update the moment you save.
- Get found in the Allpage directory: Once your details are complete, customers find you in the Allpage directory by kind of business and city, and book on your own booking page. It’s on unless you turn it off.
- Add or remove an owner: Add another owner by email, or remove one. Owners see and change everything, and you confirm it’s you first.
- Close your business: Closing keeps your website up with a contact form, takes no new payments and keeps your customers and records. You can’t reopen it from the app.
- Delete your business: Once a closed business’s payments have wound down, you can delete it. It goes 30 days after you confirm, and you can keep it until then.
- Keep your business secure: Add a passkey or an authenticator app so nobody with only your email can change your money, texting or access settings. You also see every time Allpage support looked at your business.
- Manage your account: Your account is yours across every business you belong to: your name and email, how you sign in, the devices you’re signed in on, your businesses and how Allpage looks.
Files
- Keep your photos and files in one library: Upload photos, videos, PDFs and camera RAW files at full size, sort them into albums and tags, and pick them for your website and products. A photo’s description goes with it everywhere it’s used.
- Collect files from clients and other people: Send someone an upload link and their files land in your library, private until you make them public. Your assistant can also bring in a file from a web link.
Client galleries
- Deliver photos in a private client gallery: Give each client a private gallery of their photos. They open it with a link and PIN, or from their account on your website, pick favorites and download, once they’ve paid if you choose.
Today
- Start your day on Today: Today opens on what matters now: your first booking, the next session, orders to send or a clear day. Below it, what waits for you, biggest first.
Pages
- Change what a page shows: Add, hide and move sections on any page, or make a page of your own. Use Arrange on the page, or ask the assistant, for example “track new members this month on my home page”.
Assistant
- Choose what your assistant does on its own: Choose, for each part of your business, what the assistant does on its own and what waits for your OK. Charges and customer messages wait for you unless a policy you accepted covers them.
- Choose whether your AI conversations help improve Allpage: Allpage keeps your assistant’s conversations to make its AI better, with card numbers, passwords and ID numbers removed. Turn it off in Settings and we delete what we kept.
Problem reports
- Reporting a problem: Tell the assistant “report this”, or use Report a problem in its menu. It also tells Allpage on its own when something goes wrong.
Memory
- What your assistant remembers: Tell the assistant something to keep in mind and it uses it later. See, change or forget anything it remembers here.
Connected apps
- Using Allpage from Claude, ChatGPT or another app: Use Allpage from ChatGPT, Claude or another AI app. You choose what each app can see and change, and whether its changes wait for your OK.
Integrations
- Connect Google and other services: Connect Google once for your calendar, your Google listing and review replies. You can also connect other tools for your assistant, and approve each one before it’s used.
- File customer emails for you: Forward a customer’s email to your assistant’s address, or connect Outlook, and Allpage files it on that customer’s inbox thread. Anything it asks to change, and anything worth remembering, waits for your OK.
API
- Using the Allpage API: Tokens let your own code, or a developer you work with, use your business. You choose what each one can do, and can revoke it anytime.
Team
- Add your team: Invite someone by email with a role, like Teacher or Front desk. They do what their role allows, and anything customers see waits for your OK unless you say otherwise.
- Choose what your team can do: Each person on your team has a role: what they can do, which sessions and records it covers, and whether their changes wait for your OK. Start from Teacher, Front desk or Event manager and change it to fit.
- Invite a guest teacher for a workshop: Invite a visiting teacher or artist to the offerings they help with, until their last day. They see only those sessions and who’s coming, and their access ends on its own.
Rooms and equipment
- Add your rooms and equipment: Add the rooms and equipment your sessions and bookings use, so nothing gets booked twice. Group the ones that are interchangeable, and block one off for repairs or a kiln firing.
Webhooks
- Sending events to your own systems: Send events like new bookings and payments to your own systems as they happen. See every delivery and resend any of them.
Setup
- Finish setting up your business: Setup walks you through what’s left, one step at a time, and we can do most of it for you. Skip anything and come back to it here or on Today.
- Finish a step your assistant sent you a link for: Some steps only you can do, like connecting Stripe or Google. When your assistant sends you a link for one, open it, sign in and press Continue.
Listings
- Your Google listing: Keep your Google listing’s hours, phone and website in step with your business, with a Book button that links to your site.
Reviews
- Reviews: Customers are asked for a review the day after a visit, on Google once your listing is connected. Reply here, and show the best ones on your website.
Posts
- Posting to Google and social: Post an update to your Google listing, now or at a time you pick, on its own or as part of a campaign.
Site assistant
- Answer customers on your website: An Ask us button on your website that answers customers from what your site says. It can draft replies for you to send, or handle routine questions and pass the rest to you.
Agent channels
- Let customers text, WhatsApp and email your assistant: Your assistant answers texts and WhatsApp on your business number, and email at its own address. Anything it can’t do lands in your inbox with a reply ready.
- Text your own assistant: Connect your mobile or email, then text or email your business number like you’d ask in the app. Changes that wait for you come back with a code: reply YES and the code to approve.
- Answer Instagram and Facebook messages in your inbox: Connect Instagram, your Facebook Page or both, and their direct messages land in your inbox. You answer there, or let your assistant answer within a day of each message.
