See how your classes and teachers are doing
Numbers shows how full your sessions were, who came, who didn’t, how many first-timers came back within 30 days, and what each offering and teacher brought in. Download any table as a spreadsheet.
Open Grow, then Numbers, and step through the last 7, 30 or 90 days or a year. Your sessions, By offering, By teacher and First visits that came back all show the same days. Sessions count once they’ve ended. A called-off session shows as called off and doesn’t pull your fill down.
Fill is how many came out of the seats you had: a class with 12 seats and 9 people there is 75% full. Attendance and no-shows are out of the people booked, so 9 of 10 booked is 90% attendance and one no-show.
Came back follows each person’s very first visit: it counts them when their second visit was within 30 days. A child or a guest counts as themselves, not whoever paid. A month with first visits under 30 days old says it’s still counting.
Revenue is what was paid for the places at each session, after discounts and before tax: a $30 drop-in is $30 at its session, a 10-class pack $9 a visit when it cost $90, and a membership visit its share of that month. Membership visits read “so far” until their month ends. A session’s teacher is whoever taught it, so a substitute gets that session, not the usual teacher.
The CSV buttons above the panels give you the same rows and words you see, for the same days. Teachers see their own sessions only, when their role includes reports (Teacher does). Numbers never shows anyone’s pay; that’s on Money, Team pay.
Ask the assistant “which class filled best this quarter?” or “how many first-timers came back last month?” and it reads the same numbers.
For agents
offerings.report takes from and to (the business’s days, to included, a year at most) and answers totals, offerings and teachers (each with sessions, calledOff, seats, booked, came, noShows, fillRate, attendanceRate, noShowRate, firstVisits, returned, retention, revenueMinor, revenue and provisional; rates are 0 to 1, or null with nothing to divide by) and months (first visits by month with returned, retention and open while some are under 30 days old). offerings.reportExport takes the same from and to plus table (offerings, teachers or retention) and answers filename and csv, exactly as Numbers shows it. offerings.numbers takes period (7, 30, 90 or 365, the business’s last days) and answers the same report with its label, as Numbers’ session panels read it. offerings.sessionTotals takes the same from and to and answers just ran (sessions that ran), fillRate, attendanceRate and retention. A team member gets only their own sessions.
