Take card payments

Connect Stripe so customers pay online. Your business is the seller and payouts go to your bank.

Open Money, Payouts and press Turn on payments. Stripe asks who you are and where to send payouts; it takes about ten minutes. Your business is the seller on every sale, and money goes straight to your bank. Allpage never holds it.

Until cards work, customers pay in person and bookings still come in.

What changes

  • Paid services can take a deposit or the full price when customers book.
  • Customers buy products and memberships by card on your website, and offers you send can hold or save their card. See Sell and send offers.
  • Refunds happen from Money, under Sales. A refund always asks for your OK first and names the amount. Cancelled bookings and classes refund on their own under your cancellation policy.

For agents

Only the owner can connect Stripe, because Stripe checks who they are.

  1. Call payments.enable (tool payments_enable) with {}. It never turns payments on itself: it answers needs: portal with a url.
  2. Give the owner the url and say what it's for. It works once, for 30 minutes, signed in to Allpage.
  3. When they say they're done, check payments.account. Don't say cards work until payments.status says charging is true.

The onboarding.payments skill walks through it.
