Carriers approve every business that texts, so set it up here first. Until you’re approved, messages go by email.
Set up texting on Grow, Campaigns, under Texting: it also shows the step the carriers are waiting on, like replying YES. Carriers approve every business that texts; without an EIN you register as a sole proprietor, and the carrier texts your mobile to check it’s you: reply YES to that text (or enter the code, if it sends one). Until approval, messages go by email. People who reply STOP get no more texts from you, and texts only go to people who agreed. Your plan includes a number of texts a month and a day; past either, messages go by email until they renew, and Settings, Plan and billing shows what’s left. Newsletters and offers by text unlock once your website is live, your number is approved, customers can agree to marketing texts and you’ve been open a week: Settings, Security and activity shows what’s left.
