Getting paid

Turn on payments to take cards online, with payouts to your bank. Stripe checks your business in a short form, and you confirm every refund.

Open Money, Payouts and press Turn on payments; Stripe verifies your business in a short form, and payouts go to your bank. Payouts then shows what’s in your Stripe balance for your bank, your last payout, and Stripe’s own screens: Payouts (each matched to the payments in it), Payments and disputes, Statements (your balance by month and tax forms) and Bank & account. Opening them asks you to confirm it’s you with your passkey or authenticator app first. What came in is on Money, Overview, and you refund a sale from Money, Sales, always with your OK. Disputes show on Money, under Needs you, with what to do.

For agents

Turn payments on with payments.enable (the owner finishes in Stripe) and check payments.account. commerce.money answers the Stripe balance and last payout. Refund a charge with commerce.refundCharge (find it with commerce.agreements and commerce.agreement); it waits for the owner’s OK, and past the refund policy’s window only the owner can do it.
