Let customers text, WhatsApp and email your assistant
Your assistant answers texts and WhatsApp on your business number, and email at its own address. Anything it can’t do lands in your inbox with a reply ready.
Turn it on under Inbox, Channels. Your assistant uses the number you already text customers from, so they see one number for reminders and for questions. Email gets its own address.
Who’s writing decides what it can do:
- Customers who connected their number or email on their account get answers from what your website says, and can book, move or cancel their own visits. Anything else lands in your inbox with a suggested reply.
- Anyone else lands in your inbox as usual, and gets a text back saying how to connect their number.
- You, from a number or email you connected on this screen, get your own assistant.
It tells customers it’s an AI in its first message. STOP turns off texts or WhatsApp from you on that channel.
WhatsApp needs one more step: Connect WhatsApp opens Meta’s signup for your business account on the same number. Meta approves it, usually within a day.
For agents
Turn it on with channels.turnOn (tier 2, proposed under default autonomy); channels.status shows each channel, the number and address, WhatsApp and the owner’s connected numbers. Connecting WhatsApp (channels.connectWhatsapp) and the owner’s own number (channels.addContact, channels.verifyContact) happen only on the screen, Inbox, Channels, so give the owner that link.
