Rewards and punch cards
Customers earn a stamp per visit or points per dollar, and get an email when a reward is ready.
Open Rewards and choose Start a 10-visit punch card: every 10th visit earns a free one. Or set up your own: how customers earn, how many it takes, and what they get. A rewards program gives customers a stamp per visit or points per dollar, and a reward when their card is full. Points count everything they pay for, online or marked paid in person, and a refund takes back what it earned. Customers get an email with their card when a reward is ready. We suggest making the reward a service: it then comes off on its own when they book it, online or with you, and is marked used. Otherwise mark it used when they redeem it: open their card under Cards and choose Use it now. Fix a card by hand there too, with a reason, and see its history.
For agents
Set up with loyalty.saveProgram (params.reward.productId makes the reward a free one of that product: it applies in commerce.quote as an adjustment for customers holding it, via: held, and the sale uses it). Mark a counter reward used with loyalty.redeem; fix a card with loyalty.adjust; pause or restart with loyalty.setActive. The Rewards page (/rewards) opens a member’s card at ?m=<customerId>.
