See and update your business plan

Your business plan keeps who your customers are, your market, pricing, positioning and goals in one place. Research fills it in, and your own edits always win.

Your business plan is one page about your business: a summary, 2 to 4 kinds of customer (who they are, what they need, where they look, what they pay and what stops them), demand and competition, what you sell and for how much, why customers pick you, where your first customers come from, your goals for the next 90 days, what to check (licenses, permits, insurance, tax), risks and your next three steps.

Find it under Today as Business plan, or in Settings under Your business. With nothing in it yet, it says so, with Research your market. Research takes about a minute; keep working while it runs, and each part fills in when it's done. Update research runs it again. Research fills empty parts and parts it wrote before. It never changes a part you wrote yourself: its suggestions show at the top instead. Use these takes the ones you keep, and Keep mine leaves your words as they are. Your account's first 3 research runs are free, across all your businesses. After that, research uses AI credits. Started a business before signing in? Research starts once you sign in and keep it.

Each part shows where it came from (from research, from your website, or you wrote this). Change any part in place and press Save. Ask the assistant on a part for help with it. History lists every saved version, so you can go back to an earlier one.

Still working out an idea? Start it as an idea and it gets its own plan before anything else. Get name ideas with whether each .com and Instagram and TikTok handle looks free, and pick one to rename your business. A waitlist page is a public page with its own link where people leave their email to hear when you open. It says exactly what they agree to. When you open, everyone on it becomes one of your customers with that agreement.

The assistant reads your plan when it writes for you: captions, review replies, message drafts, your website's words and your brand's colors and voice fit your customers. This is general information to help you research, not legal advice. Requirements change and vary by location, so confirm with each issuing authority. Allpage doesn’t guarantee it’s complete or that your business is compliant.

For agents

Read the plan with planning.read (sections, sources, version, proposals, suggested, freeResearch, names, waitlist). Change sections with planning.update (data with whole sections, and the version read; a stale version is refused). planning.history and planning.restore go back. planning.research takes research you wrote as research and saves it with no AI credits; left out, Allpage researches as a pending task. Before a business started without signing in is kept, Allpage’s own research answers needs: limit with the sign-in link, and freeResearch.signIn is true. Research fills empty sections and those not written by the owner, and returns proposals for the owner’s own; planning.update with a proposal uses it, and planning.skipProposals with its sections keeps the owner’s words. While Allpage researches, planning.read has researching, the task to read with business.operation. The page is /b/<id>/business-plan. planning.names and planning.pickName name the business; planning.waitlist makes the waitlist page and planning.signups lists who joined. Before anyone signs in, planning.opportunities scores kinds of business against what someone likes, their budget and their hours, and planning.checkNames checks names they already have. business.create with stage: "idea" keeps an idea as a business. The planning.start, planning.plan and planning.name skills walk through it.
