Switch from Square, Mindbody, Vagaro or Acuity

Bring your clients, services, classes, upcoming bookings, packs and memberships over from the system you used before, one exported file at a time. You see what each file becomes before anything is saved.

This screen brings what you had in your old booking system over to Allpage. Export a file from Square, Mindbody, Vagaro or Acuity (each system’s steps are on the screen), then drop it here.

We match its columns for you: the system’s own column names first, then the AI for anything we don’t recognize. Check the matches, fix any that are off, and look over the preview: how many come over, how many are already here, and every line that won’t come over with why. Nothing is saved until you confirm.

Clients become your customers. Anyone with the same email or mobile as a customer you already have becomes one record, with the new details filled in. Notes and birthdays come too. Nobody is signed up for your emails or texts unless the file shows they agreed: Square’s export says who subscribed to emails, so they stay subscribed, and anyone who unsubscribed anywhere stays unsubscribed. Texts always need their own yes.

Services and classes go on your schedule at the prices in the file: a service is something customers pick a time for, and a class starts its weekly sessions today. A service in more than one length becomes one service with an option for each length, at its own price. That works for one line like “Swedish” at 60/90 minutes for $90/$130, and for lines like “Swedish – 60 min” and “Swedish – 90 min”. The preview shows each one before you confirm. A line with two lengths and one price doesn’t come over: give each length its price. Upcoming bookings are booked at their times in your hours, in the option that matches their length (or their name, when two options run the same length); a booking that matches no option, or more than one, is listed with what to change, paid at the visit, and customers get your usual booking messages. A booking’s note goes on the client. Bookings that already happened or were cancelled are left out.

Packs keep the uses each client has left and their end date. They were paid for before, so nothing is charged.

Memberships can’t bring their cards over. Each member gets an email in your business’s name to confirm their membership and add a card. Nothing is charged until they confirm, and if they’re paid ahead, the first charge here waits until that runs out. The invite stays open 30 days.

A line with a problem (no way to reach the client, a date we can’t read) is listed with its line number and reason, and the rest come over. Fix those lines and bring the file again: anything already brought over is matched, not doubled.

Files from Excel (Vagaro’s and Mindbody’s reports) need saving as CSV first. Up to 2,000 rows a file.

For agents

The screen is Settings › More › Switch to Allpage (/settings?open=import). Read the file, call import.mapColumns with its header line and up to three lines under it (it answers the source, kind and a mapping; pass columns with your own matches for the columns the headers don’t settle and no AI of ours runs, which ChatGPT always does), show the owner the mapping, then import.run with the header cells (with the Schedule on, services and classes are saved with offerings.save and bookings booked with offerings.book), the mapping and every row with its line number (tier 3: it always waits for the owner’s confirmation). import.runs lists past files.
