Keep track of sales

Money, Sales lists every open sale and what it needs from you: an offer to send, an order to approve, a balance to charge, or money you took in person to mark paid.

Each sale shows the customer (open their page from their name), what they bought, its price said once (“$96 to collect in person”), a badge (Unpaid or Paid for a one-off order, Active for a membership) and what’s next, and its latest charges with where each stands and why: paid, refunded, a failed card and when we try again, or waiting because payments are off. Charging a card, refunding or emailing a customer always shows you exactly what happens first. Done and ended shows sales that finished, so you can still refund them.

Mark paid once you have money you took in person. Charge the balance at pickup, and it goes on the card they paid the deposit with. Approve an order to charge the card they saved.

Cancel a membership and it stops at the end of the period they paid for. Cancel an order you can’t fulfil and what they paid online goes back to their card. Pause a membership to stop charges and access until you resume it.

You can’t close the business while a sale is still open, including a membership set to stop or one that’s paused. Finish or cancel them first.
