Get found in the Allpage directory

Once your details are complete, customers find you in the Allpage directory by kind of business and city, and book on your own booking page. It’s on unless you turn it off.

You’re listed once your details are complete. Open Grow, then Get found: it says whether customers find you in the Allpage directory, in ChatGPT and on Google, and lists what’s left, each with one button: a published website, what kind of business you are, an address we found on the map (or the places you work, if you go to customers), a phone number or email, your hours or bookings, and a line about what you do. Add your address and Add your hours open right there.

Your listing shows your name, the line about you, what kind of business you are, your city, phone, hours, and your services with their prices. Customers can book, reserve or ask for a quote when you take those, and message you. It updates when you change your details.

You also show on the directory’s page for your kind of business in your city, like the one for dog walkers in Denver. Search engines and ChatGPT search find those pages, your listing and your own website, which tells them where you are, where you go, your hours, prices, rating and how to book.

Get found also says whether you show up in ChatGPT. Once Allpage Local, our app for customers in ChatGPT, is out, customers can find and book you there from this same listing, with nothing for you to set up. Until then it says coming soon. Your setup plan has the same step.

Your street stays hidden until you choose Show my street in Get found, and your map pin is about a kilometer off until then. Show it if customers come to you.

Choose Take my listing down in Get found to take your listing down everywhere, and List my business to put it back. It also comes down if you close the business.

The listing’s button opens your own booking page (or your website, if you don’t take bookings). Customers sign in with their Allpage account and book with you there. Allpage charges you nothing for it, and you see visits it sends you in your numbers, from the Allpage directory.

When customers search Allpage for a kind of business near them, nearer businesses come first. Among those about as close, the ones that match what they asked for best come first, then the ones they can book soon, then the most complete listings. If you go to your customers, you show up anywhere your service area covers. Nobody can pay to rank higher.

For agents

The screen is Get found (/get-found). directory.found answers the directory, ChatGPT and Google at once, with needs by key (site, kind, address, confirmAddress, reach, times, description, closed). business.listInDirectory (listed: false takes it down, true puts it back; on by default; tier 2, so your assistant asks first) and business.showStreetInDirectory (show: true or false; off by default; tier 2). directory.listing says whether it’s on (on), whether it shows (listed), what it still needs (missing, in the owner’s words, e.g. "Add your hours or turn on bookings."), whether the street shows (showStreet) and can (streetToShow), what customers can do (actions: book, reserve, quote, message), its page (url), where it sends customers (bookingUrl), and whether it shows in ChatGPT (chatgpt: reach is soon, local once Allpage Local is out, or search once ChatGPT search shows listings too; showing; and line, the owner’s words for it). Say no more about ChatGPT than line does. The listing follows the records through directory.refresh, which the system runs. Customers find listings with the public directory.search (by kind and place or near; nearest first by band, then match, times soon and completeness) and directory.business.
