Your business details
Your name, address, hours and contact details, entered once. Your website, emails and listings update the moment you save.
Enter your name, address, hours and contact details once in Settings, Your business. Your website, emails, listings and structured data all use them and update the moment you save.
Start typing your street and pick it from the list. That fills in the rest and puts you on the map. If search can’t find it, type it in and save. We look it up on the map in the background, and if we can’t find it, Your business asks you to confirm your address.
Hold sessions somewhere else, like a hired hall, a gallery abroad or online, by adding it as a location. A venue keeps its own time zone, so a class there shows its local time. Online sessions show in your business’s time zone.
For agents
business.updateAddress takes the address as typed (line1, city, region, and postalCode when known). It’s checked in the background: the stored address then has corrected parts, geo, placeId and checked: true, or checked: false when it couldn’t be found, and directory.listing names "Confirm your address." until it’s found or the owner picks it from search. Service-area places in business.updateServiceArea are looked up by name the same way. business.setTimeZone (timeZone, an IANA zone like America/Los_Angeles) moves the business to another time zone and changes nothing else: hours and classes keep their clock times there, and bookings already made keep their moment. Tier 2, so your assistant asks first. business.hours reads the opening hours (weekly, Sunday first, in minutes from midnight; exceptions; timeZone and its everyday name; version), weekdays 9 to 5 until any are saved: customers book within them unless an offering has its own. business.updateHours saves them whole, with timeZone (another zone moves the business there too) and the version read. In ChatGPT the owner sets them, and the zone, on the hours card instead. business.locations lists the business’s locations (place, venue, online), the main one first, each with the zone its sessions run on. business.saveLocation adds one, or changes one by locationId (fields left out keep their value): a venue or place needs timeZone or a US address to take the zone from, and an online one takes neither and runs on the business’s zone. The main location can only be renamed there; its address, hours and zone are business.updateAddress, business.updateHours and business.setTimeZone.
