Take applications for scholarships and calls for entry
Share an application’s link and people apply on your website with their files. You review each one in Forms and accept with a free pass, a free place or a code, or decline.
In Forms, choose New form, then Application. Give it a name and a web address, like scholarship: people apply at /apply/scholarship on your website. Add what it’s for, the questions, and file questions for work samples. Set the biggest file people can send (20 MB unless you change it) and, if you like, the last day it takes applications.
Link to it from a page, a post or an email. Applicants give their name and email, answer the questions and add their files. Files stay private to you. They get an email that it’s in, and you get a notice.
Applications on the Forms page lists every one, the ones waiting for you first, with its status: new, in review, accepted or declined. Open one to read the answers and open the files. Mark it in review while you decide.
Accept it with just the news, or give them something: a pass or pack at no cost (set what it covers on Memberships & packs first, like a scholarship pass for one course), a free place in an offering they book themselves, or a discount code that works once. Decline it and they get a kind note. Either way you can add a line of your own. Each one is decided once.
Giving something away needs a role that can change prices and sales. A team member or app without that can mark applications in review, but not accept with something attached.
For agents
An application is a form with kind: application saved through forms.save with a key and application settings (open, closesOn, fileMb, intro); people apply at /apply/<key> on the business’s site (the page reads forms.application; forms.applicationUpload and forms.apply run only there, never through an agent). forms.applications lists submissions (status: submitted, in_review, accepted, declined; counts), forms.submission reads one with its answers and files (open a file with files.link; a model sees no answers). forms.decide (tier 2) takes submissionId and decision (review, accept, decline), with accept at most one of give: { productId } (an access product that doesn’t renew, given as a $0 sale so it issues the grant), admit: { productId } (an admission whose price is 100% off for them once, when they book) or code: { percent, productIds } (a single-use code, emailed), and an optional message. Accepting with something touches commerce.publishAdjustment (and commerce.createCode or commerce.sell), so the caller’s role or app must reach commerce.
