Deliver photos in a private client gallery
Give each client a private gallery of their photos. They open it with a link and PIN, or from their account on your website, pick favorites and download, once they’ve paid if you choose.
Open Galleries and choose New gallery, then pick the client. Each gallery has its own page, opened from Galleries or from the client’s page. Name the sets (Ceremony, Portraits) and upload straight into each one at full size, or add photos already in your library. Big JPEGs are fine: the gallery makes its own preview sizes.
Before you share, set what fits this client. A PIN keeps the link private if it gets forwarded. Watermarked previews draw your logo over every photo the client sees (add your logo image in Brand first). Release downloads once paid ties the gallery to their booking, so downloads open when the balance is paid and stop if the payment is refunded. Choose whether they can download full size, a 2048 px web size, or both. Pick the last day it opens; we email them a week before it closes.
Share sends your client an email in your name with the link, and the PIN if you set one at the same time. Or choose Share without emailing in its settings and send the link yourself. Signed in on your website, the client also finds it under their account, no PIN needed. Change the PIN and anyone who opened the gallery with the old one has to enter the new one; your client signed in keeps their access.
Your client can favorite photos, download one at a time, a set, or everything. A big gallery downloads as a few zip files, each under 2 GB. Anyone with the link and PIN can view, so a couple can each keep their own favorites.
The gallery shows who opened it, what each person favorited, and every download. Copy favorites gives you the file names to find in your editing app. To give more time, pick a later closing date; they’ll get a new reminder before it. Make a new link if the old one went somewhere it shouldn’t.
For agents
galleries.create (customerId, optional name, agreementId the sale it delivers, sets names) answers each set’s setId and collectionId; owners upload into a set by passing its collectionId to files.start as albumId (the gallery then prepares the photos). galleries.saveSet (galleryId, setId or a new name, add/remove/order file ids from the library). galleries.update (galleryId, name, message, agreementId, expiresOn YYYY-MM-DD or null, pin 4–8 digits or null, watermark, releaseOnPaid (needs agreementId), downloads from original and web, coverFileId). galleries.share (notify emails the client the link, with pin if set in the same call) answers the url. galleries.newLink replaces the link; galleries.remove deletes the gallery and keeps the photos. galleries.list and galleries.get (viewers, each one’s favorites by file name, recent downloads, whether the sale is paid) read them. A gallery’s page is the record page gallery at /galleries/<galleryId>. Never put a PIN anywhere but galleries.update or galleries.share.
