Send email from your own domain

Once your domain connects, we set it up so your emails come from your own address on it. Add the records shown, or add them in one click if Cloudflare runs your domain, and it turns green.

Until you connect a domain, your emails to customers come from your Allpage address in your business’s name, and replies go to your business email. That works from day one.

When your website’s domain connects, we start setting up email from it for you. You add a few DNS records at your domain provider: three that prove your emails are really yours (DKIM), and two for a bounce address (send.yourbusiness.com) so mail providers trust where bounces go (SPF). If Cloudflare runs your domain, Add them automatically does it in one step. We check every hour for three days, or press Check now. Once both parts pass, your emails come from hello@yourbusiness.com, or your business email if it’s on the same domain.

If your domain has no DMARC policy yet, we suggest one that only reports (p=none), so nothing you send gets blocked while you get started. If you already have one, keep it.

A new sending address warms up. Mail providers trust a sender that grows steadily, so for its first four weeks it sends up to 50 emails a day, doubling every four days. Confirmations and reminders aren’t held to it. Newsletters and other marketing wait for room and go out over the next days on their own.

A new business sends up to 200 marketing emails a day for its first two weeks, and your plan sets a daily and monthly limit after that. Confirmations, receipts and reminders always go, even past a limit, and Today tells you when you’re over.

Stop using your domain any time: emails go back to your Allpage address. Your DNS records can stay.

For agents

Read the current sender with domains.email (from, own, domains, warmup). Start it with domains.setUpEmail { domain } for a domain the business connected (ownership proven); it runs by itself when a website domain verifies. domains.checkEmail asks the provider and returns the records with done flags and status connecting, connected or failed. domains.connectEmail is the one-click Cloudflare step (a portal link for agents). domains.stopEmail goes back to the Allpage address. The warm-up numbers are plan limits email.warmup.days, email.warmup.first and email.warmup.every. A new business’s ramp on all customer email is email.ramp.days and email.ramp.daily (it holds past its days while the email risk state isn’t Healthy), and the plan caps are email.daily and email.monthly. Transactional email past a cap still goes, noted on the message and counted on Today; marketing waits for room, or is skipped past the month’s cap.
