See what came in and what you’re owed

Money answers what came in this month, what customers owe you right now, what you kept and what goes to your bank next. Step through months, see what sold, and download every sale for your accountant.

Ask the assistant: “How much did I take in September, and who still owes me?” Or open Money.

Overview leads with four answers: Took in (sales after refunds, this month), Owed right now (money customers owe you in person, from any month), You kept (after refunds, Allpage’s fees and anything held for disputes) and Next payout (what’s in your Stripe balance for your bank, or Connect payments when they’re off). Step to an earlier month with the month bar; everything but Owed right now follows the month.

Below that: Six months of what came in, What sold, Memberships, Owed right now (each customer with what they owe; open their page to mark it paid), Refunds, anything that needs you (a dispute, a renewal held or failing, an order to approve), and Sales, where every sale has its next step. Add Sales by audience or Sales by campaign from Add a section.

Under Sales, download the month or every sale as a spreadsheet: each charge with its date, customer, what it was for, amount, tax, refunds, Allpage’s fee and where it stands.

Money’s other tabs: Payouts (your Stripe account, each payout matched to the payments in it, card payments and disputes, statements and tax forms like a 1099-K, and every card charge), Books (each month’s profit and loss and your books), Team pay once you have a team, and Sales tax.

For agents

commerce.money (month YYYY-MM, the business’s time zone, this month by default) answers Overview: what came in (took: revenue, sales, refunds, fees, disputes, tax, kept), six months of revenue (months), what sold, memberships, audiences and campaigns, this month’s refunds, what’s owed in person by customer (owed, every month), the Stripe balance and last payout (payout) and alerts. commerce.revenue gives the full breakdowns (byProduct, byMembership, byAudience, byCampaign, byLocation), each adding up to the ledger’s revenue for the month. commerce.invoices lists card charges with their state and their sale’s number (#1001, the one on the customer’s receipt). The spreadsheet is commerce.exportCharges (owner only, from Money, like the customer list). Payouts, balance and documents are Stripe’s embedded components; agents read the numbers from commerce.money.
